At https://www.sweetscape.com/support/kb/, when I enter “Assert” into the text field and click Search Knowledgebase, I get a result that doesn’t visibly contain the text for which I searched.
Sometimes search engines return hits based on metadata. Perhaps that’s what’s happening here? (If that’s the case, perhaps it can’t be fixed.)
We are using Google to do searches in our knowledgebase. I believe Google will sometimes returns words that are syntactically similar even though they are not the same words (probably a synonym but we’re not sure which one). You can force the search to ignore synonyms by using double quotes around the text (“assert”) and then the search correctly reports that there are no matches. In the future we may change to a search engine that we have more control over. Cheers!
