Floating Tab window can be awkward when switching applications, and suggestion

When the floating tab window is open, clicking on another application’s window leaves the floating tab window still floating in front of the other application.

This occasionally catches me up when the other application has a window that is completely hidden by the floating tab window so that I don’t see it.

On MacOS at least it’s possible to find it by right clicking on the application in the Dock and selecting “Show all windows”, but with the window completely hidden, I may be unaware or forgetful of its very existence.

The Floating window would get in the way less often if only floated in front of other 010 Editor windows.

Having tool windows float above other applications happens only on macOS, and I believe this is the expected behaviour on macOS. macOS has different user interface guidelines than Windows or Linux and this is one case that I think the Windows/Linux way is better. We are going to try to provide more options for how the Floating Tab Groups work in our next version and we’ll let you know when we have something for you to try as it may work better.
